Product Details

The Tamarack Dorsi-Assist brace features a dorsi-assist Tamarack flexure joint, ideal for patients suffering from foot drop. The joint is generally positioned in 50-degree dorsiflexion but can vary depending on the individual needs of the patient. A velcro strap closure with a tibial pad supports the lower leg, and the patient’s shoe gear keeps the foot properly positioned on the brace foot plate. This device is constructed with a 4mm polypropylene shell that can be reduced to 3mm for flexibility or increased to 5mm or 6mm for greater control. The proximal trim lines of this brace are anterior to the tibia, which will typically require patients with good dexterity to don this orthosis.
